ARMHS Practitioner
As a practitioner, I take a holistic approach in working with my clients. I believe that an individuals’ mental health, physical health, and emotional health are all vital components to a persons’ overall well-being. My goal is to create a calm and comforting working relationship with my clients, in order to instill trust and confidence in the work we do together. I aim to provide a collaborative, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for clients to grow. My overarching philosophy is that we are all in it together and it is our connectedness that makes us whole.
My qualifications are wide-ranging and unique. I have many years of experience working with adults in a variety of settings including, behavioral home health services, Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services programs, counseling clinics and in rehabilitative nursing care. I received a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and completed an internship in the counseling department of a busy non-profit healthcare clinic in Los Angeles. I then went on to complete a master’s degree in counseling psychology, while pursuing a graduate internship in higher education counseling students. I have experience in targeted case management, needs assessment and counseling, patient intake coordination, and strategic planning and execution.
