Outpatient Clinical Psychotherapist Trainee
Authenticity is significant as a therapist. As your therapist I will be as genuine as I can be. Throughout the therapy process it is essential to be as genuine as possible. I am dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse communities that identify as first-generation, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color), and those who have intersectional identities. I am excited to collaborate with you in your process towards healing. Note to self: Me as your therapist is walking with you on a sidewalk, I am not less or more than you and you are not less or more than me. Instead, we are walking along side each other.
I have a diverse background of working directly with people. I have experience in community based and outpatient work. I have done play therapy and have used a variety of therapeutic approaches (Solution-focused therapy, Person-centered therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and CBT). I have experience with working with people from year six and older.
I enjoy playing soccer and anything that has to do with outdoors. I have a dog named Max. I love watching movies from all genres but my most favorite movies are thrillers and action movies.
