Psychotherapist Clinical Trainee
I believe that every person has a story that needs to be heard. My passion for this work was ignited by my own personal experience bolstering my mental health, and since then, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others navigate the complexities of their emotions.
In our sessions, I strive to create a sanctuary—a space where you can explore your thoughts, dreams, and challenges without fear of judgment. I firmly believe that within you lies the wisdom and strength to move through the obstacles you are facing. I have a particular passion for working with creative individuals including musicians, visual artists, and writers.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. For the majority of this time, I have worked in co-occurring disorders spaces. I am currently a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and under supervision while I pursue my licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) licensure.
I draw upon a rich tapestry of therapeutic techniques, including Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-based Therapy, creative interventions, and Mindfulness to create a uniquely tailored experience for each person I work with. I also strongly believe in teaching my clients how the brain, the body, and relational influences impact how we experience our daily living.
Outside of therapy, you might find me foraging for edible plants and fungi in the woods, cooking a new recipe, writing music, or playing with my cat, Fitz.
