Clinical Trainee
I believe in meeting clients where they are at and providing a nurturing space for them to grow and explore their identities. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, open environment where clients feel comfortable being their true selves and sharing their stories. As a clinician who identifies as queer and neurodivergent, I am particularly committed to fostering an atmosphere grounded in authenticity, empowerment, trust, and empathy.
Understanding that connection and belonging are essential for healing and growth, my approach to therapy is relational and strengths-based, guided by a trauma-informed lens. I integrate mindfulness, art, play, and experiential activities into my practice to support clients on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. By embracing each client’s unique experiences and strengths, I strive to empower them to enhance their overall well-being.
I have several years of training and experience in working with children, adolescents, and young adults through individual, family, and group therapy. My background includes providing care in outpatient and school-based settings, as well as in higher levels of care such as day treatment and residential treatment programs. Additionally, as a clinical psychologist, I have extensive training and experience in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations with children and adolescents.
