School-Based Therapist; Skyview Middle School
I approach my work with an open heart and an open mind. I strive to create an environment which is comfortable and based in trust. I believe that through positive relationship we can join in meaningful healing processes. I use a strengths based perspective which celebrates the unique abilities and experiences that we each hold. I also utilize a person centered perspective which allows me to join in healing with people and families while acknowledging that they are the real experts of their own lives.
I have been working within the fields of education and mental health for 9 years. Throughout this time I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, young adults and families. These opportunities have included special education, behavior intervention, residential, in-home and school based settings.
