School-Based Therapist; St. Michael Elementary
In my therapeutic practice I prioritize autonomy, meeting my clients where they are at, and leveraging their unique strengths. I believe that true healing occurs when individuals feel empowered and supported in their journeys. When working with younger clients I include family in the therapeutic process and find that it enhances relationships and fosters a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. My foundational approach focuses on connecting individuals to their community and purpose and by helping them discover values that resonate with their cultural needs and life experience. By working alongside with clients, a path towards growth that honors individuality and promotes meaningful connection is developed.
I have my master’s in professional counseling and psychological services. I have previously worked in the education field with children and adolescents as a student support and family liaison specialist before obtaining my degree.
I enjoy staying active, trying new restaurants, baking and hanging out with my two cats – Pickles and Wesley!
