School-Based Therapist; FAIR School Downtown
I am passionate about working with and advocating for children and families, in any capacity that I have the honor of serving them in. I believe in the power and importance of genuine connection and trust within relationships. I create a safe space for my clients by showing up with compassion, empathy, care and concern for their well-being in every area of their lives. I meet my clients where they are and I work in collaboration and walk hand in hand with them as they learn, heal and work towards reaching their goals. I believe everyone has the ability to learn and grow, if they are willing to do the work. I am here to support my clients in doing their work. Growing and healing is a journey, and I am honored to be a part of my client’s journeys toward hope and healing.
I have worked with children and families in various capacities for more than 10 years. I have worked in the Minneapolis Public school District as an Associate Educator and Family Liaison. I have also worked as a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager and am currently working as a School-Based Therapist.
I am the mother of one human child and two cat children. I LOVE basketball- I played in high school and enjoy watching the NBA and WNBA in my spare time. I am a travel enthusiast and food lover. I love to laugh and often use humor in my work with clients. Laughter is healing!
