Psychotherapist
I believe that balance is a crucial part of a healthy and meaningful life. We all struggle at times with confusing or challenging feelings, and it’s okay to seek support. My aim is to help you find the balance you are seeking. My hope is that you can feel secure enough to be open about your concerns. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I can provide the insight and knowledge to help you reach your goals.
I have been working at Canvas Health since 2012, first as an in-home skills worker (CTSS and ARMHS) and then transitioned into being a full-time psychotherapist in November 2016. I interned at the Adler Center for Family and Community and Additional Testing/Paterson Counseling Group between 2010 and 2012. All of these professional experiences have positively influenced me and my work, including getting the privilege of helping in home and community environments, addressing the complexity co-occurring issues, and creating a foundation of Adlerian approaches that can support a wide variety of people.
I very much enjoy art and music, so going to shows and museums is always fun for me. I try to incorporate my unique perspectives gained from having lived in Australia for several years.
