Lead Clinical Psychologist and Director of Psychology Training
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is a key component to successful therapy. I aim to be genuine in the therapy room and encourage my clients to do the same. My professional philosophy includes incorporating multiple therapeutic techniques in order to tailor therapy to the specific needs of my clients. I emphasize empowering my clients in the therapeutic environment and their lives. My therapeutic style includes a balance of validation and challenges to help clients grow to their full potential.
I completed my predoctoral internship at Canvas Health and never left. I have experience engaging in therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. I have specific training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I complete psychological evaluations for clinical and forensic purposes with individuals of all ages. I also serve as the Director of Psychology Training, allowing me the opportunity to oversee our doctoral internship program, providing administration and supervision.
Much of my time is spent at home with my family. I dabble in a variety of hobbies, such as cross-stitching and attempts at gardening. I enjoy watching hockey and am a big Red Wings fan.
