School-Based Mental Health Supervisor
In the field of mental health, trauma and healing, it is important to be strength-based and client/family focused. I meet people where they are and work collaboratively with them to get to where they want to be. I look at situations through a developmental, trauma-informed lens and a systems approach. We do not grow up in isolation; we are a product of our family system-whatever that may look like. This impacts how we see the world and self. Strategies like EMDR, Internal Family Systems and other modalities inform the way I practice and allow a diverse application depending on your needs. At Canvas Health I supervise therapists who are imbedded in schools and providing therapy to all ages and situations, coaching them to become effective, compassionate therapists and strong advocates for your needs.
