School Based Therapist; Forest Lake High School
I use evidence-based interventions to address mental, emotional, and behavioral concerns to restore wellness in others through collaborative work. Working from a strength-based and trauma informed lens, I adapt my interventions and theoretical approach to meet the individual’s unique needs and goals. I believe that the therapeutic relationship sets the foundation for the course of treatment and work to create an accepting, judgement-free space for people of all backgrounds to safely explore and process life’s challenges.
I am dedicated and passionate about working with children, teens, young adults, and families. I have more than 5 years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings, including juvenile detention centers, residential group homes, chemical dependency facilities, outpatient facilities, and school-based services.
