School-Based Therapist; STMA High School
I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals. My goal is to assist my clients in finding the motivation and appropriate change so that they can live a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I try to take a systemic view to my clients’ issues and consider myself a fierce advocate for the children and adolescents I serve.
My previous experience includes school social work, transitional housing services for women without housing, care coordination for aging adults, and intensive outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults. I specialize in self harm and suicidal ideation, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and OCD. I often use DBT, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused modalities. I consider myself a lifetime learner and am always open to expanding my repertoire of treatment options.
